What is bagasse and why do you use it?
Bagasse is the fibrous pulp left over after sugarcane juice is extracted — a renewable by-product rather than a fresh raw material. We use it because it's naturally compostable, free from added plastic linings, and sturdy enough for hot and cold food.
Are your products certified compostable?
Yes. Our packaging is made from sugarcane bagasse manufactured by our certified production partner, whose materials hold EN13432, OK Compost (TÜV Austria) and BPI Compostable certification — the leading industrial compostability standards in Europe and the US.
Do you offer trade or wholesale accounts?
Yes. Caterers, takeaways, cafes and food-service businesses ordering regularly can register for a trade account for 5% off every order and priority stock — visit our Trade Account page to get started. Everyone, trade or not, also gets 10% off orders over £500, 15% over £1,000 and 20% over £1,500 (ex VAT); discounts don’t combine, and you always get the best one. Kraft containers and bowls, PP lids, gloves, white cups and blue roll are already at our lowest price, so they aren’t discounted further.
Are your prices shown with or without VAT?
Prices on our site are shown including VAT, with the ex-VAT price alongside. Trade account customers see ex-VAT prices once logged in. At checkout, VAT is shown as a separate line and the total is the same.
How much is delivery, and how long does it take?
All UK orders are sent tracked. Orders over £75 inc. VAT get free next-working-day delivery, whatever the weight. Under that, delivery is £8.99 inc. VAT. Order by 1pm Monday–Friday and we dispatch the same day; UK mainland addresses get next-working-day delivery, while the Scottish Highlands, islands and Northern Ireland can take 1–2 extra working days. Very large orders may go on a pallet, and we’ll confirm the delivery day with you. Your cart shows whether your order qualifies, and the delivery cost is shown at checkout before you pay. What pack sizes do you offer?
Most products are available in a range of pack sizes, from smaller trial packs up to full cartons for high-volume use. You can choose the pack size on each product page.
Do you ship outside the UK?
We currently ship within the UK. If you're based outside the UK and interested in a bulk order, please get in touch and we'll do our best to help.
