The plate is built more rigid than a standard plate, so it stays firm when carrying hot, saucy or heavy food and is less likely to fold when held in one hand.

Can these go in the microwave or freezer?
Yes. Bagasse handles hot food and can be used in the microwave for reheating and in the freezer for storage. Avoid conventional ovens and open flames.

Are they compostable?
They are made from sugarcane bagasse fibre with no plastic coating, from material certified to EN13432 for industrial composting. Put them in commercial food-waste or composting collections where available.
